April 29th, 2009 - Update on Revival Meetings
Praise the Lord for the great meetings God is giving us this week! God is using Bro. Steve Schwanke in a mighty way this week through the preaching of the Word. We were also blessed to have the Emmanuel handbell/vocal choirs with us on Sunday evening, and we were excited to have 56 in attendance! On Monday evening we were encouraged by the attendance of Pastor Cleveland and Pastor Neiner and several members of their churches. Praise the Lord for these meetings, and may His work continue here in Chester as we begin our 4th year!
April 5th, 2009 - Third Anniversary Celebration / Revival Meetings
Chester Baptist Church is pleased to announce its Third Anniversary Celebration beginning Sunday, April 26. Our guest speaker is Evangelist Steve Schwanke. Sunday services include Sunday School at 9:45am, Morning worship at 10:45am, and a special evening service at 6:00pm featuring special music from the Emmanuel Christian Academy handbell choir. Each evening, Monday thru Wednesday, April 27-29, Revival services will be held at 7:00pm. Nursery is provided for all services, and transportation is available. April 5th, 2009 - Youth Night - April 17th
All youth ages 12+ are invited to our monthly youth nights held at the new Chester Elementary School. The next scheduled youth night is on Friday, April 17th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Activities include fun games, group competitions, free food, and Gospel preaching. For free transportation, please call 354-7743.
April 5th, 2009 - Easter Services
Please join us on Easter Sunday beginning at 9:30am for Sunday School followed by fellowship and refreshments. Our morning worship service begins at 10:45am. An evening service will be held at 6:00pm. Sunday services are held at the new Chester Elementary School, 325 Middlefield Road, Chester. For more information, please call 354-7743.
