April 29th, 2008 - Tuesday’s Report
Praise the Lord! Two first time visitors from Chester came to our Revival service this evening, including one man for whom we’ve been praying for almost two years! All of our members were present, and the message touched our hearts as God manifested His desire for all of us to draw closer to Him. As we approach the last meeting on Wednesday, please pray for God’s work to be done, and that He will receive all the glory.
April 28th, 2008 - Monday’s Report
Thank you for your continued prayers! God blessed with a number of folks from the area as well as several friends visiting us from Galilean Baptist Church in Stafford Springs, CT. Praise the Lord for the work He is doing in hearts through the preaching of His Word! We had a wonderful time of fellowship, and we are looking forward to all that God has in store during the next two evening services.
April 27th, 2008 - Anniversary Sunday
Praise the Lord for the wonderful time of fellowship we shared together around His word as we celebrated the second anniversary of Chester Baptist Church! God blessed with a good attendance and great services today, and we give Him all the glory for the work He is doing! Our revival meetings will continue this week Monday thru Wednesday at 7pm with guest preacher, Pastor David Martin from Winchester, VA. Please pray for many visitors to come, for souls to be saved, and for God’s work to be done in our hearts.
April 7th, 2008 - 2nd Anniversary Celebration!
Chester Baptist Church announces its Second Anniversary celebration during the week of April 27-30, 2008. During Anniversary Sunday on April 27th, a special meal will be served following the morning services, and an afternoon service at 2:00pm will be held in place of the regularly scheduled evening service. Each evening Monday thru Wednesday, Revival services will be held at 7:00pm with guest preacher David Martin from Winchester, Virginia. The community is invited to attend all services. April 7th, 2008 - Monthly Youth Nights
Chester Baptist Church invites all youth ages 12 and up to attend monthly Youth Nights held at the new Chester Elementary School, 325 Middlefiled Road, Chester. Activites include a variety of sports, fun games, and other group contests. Free food, snacks, and drinks are also served to all participants. The next scheduled Youth Night is on April 18 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Please call or email Pastor Herr with any questions or for free transportation (354-7743).
